Who are we ?
Planet Farmers is a business structure under Togolese law, created by the association ECHOPPE. It aims to provide advice and technical services to Togolese farmers in the region of Adeta (150 kilometers north of Lome). It has a team of agricultural technicians, volonteers and support workers.
ECHOPPE TOGO is today, a Togolese structure, autonomous in its work which "continued" the micro-credit model established by the association ECHOPPE, France with its system of collectors, social assistance and savings. The ECHOPPE structure has enabled over 200,000 families to escape extreme poverty over the past thirty years and today ECHOPPE TOGO accompanies more than 80,000 women.
Our needs and goals
In the long term, the production of seeds, natural fertilizer, the rental of agricultural equipment and of marketing will generate self-financing for the training, social support and monitoring activities for farmers and women entrepreneurs. However today the program needs help in building the infrastructures necessary for accomplishing these goals.
