“Thanks to Planète Paysans Togo, I have transformed my farm: I have integrated agroforestry and mechanization on more than 6 hectares. The tractor has been essential for preparing my plots and improving the resilience of my crops to drought, particularly thanks to the rotovator, which helps retain soil moisture. In 2024, I planted 175 trees and developed a 2.5-hectare plot, where I achieved an 80% germination rate despite a drought, compared to none on ridges. These advancements allow me to cultivate 10 hectares, diversify my crops, and gain efficiency. My goal: to expand agroforestry and encourage my neighbors to follow this promising path”
