RURAL EXODUS
The difficulties of currently archaic agricultural production techniques, the arduous nature of the work and the attraction of the city for young Togolese are all the causes of a rural exodus.
One objective of the program is to recreate the links between farmers in the countryside and urban populations via street food vendors who provide at least one meal a day to 70% of city dwellers.
54% of the active population practices agriculture
By building viable agro-ecological solutions with farmers, we ensure a level of production that allows food security and therefore an improvement in living conditions.
